I would stick with a kicker amp myself. I have a pair of 12's with a kicker amp, and they hit really hard. So the combination seems to work pretty well togeather. I would try and go with one amp to run both, maybe a second for your speakers…but you will need some serious power to run those two bad boys. Id look for an am that runs between 1800 and 2500 watts and you should have a pretty sweet system! Also, take a look on ebay for it. I bought mine brand new on there for less than a third of retail…good luck and happy thumping!

Depending on your budget you can go couple of different ways. Box will play a part in this too. If you have a bandpass box(doubtful) they take less power than a ported box to power the subs. Since they are both dual 4ohms you can wire them down to 2ohms each and run seperate amps bridged or can wire them up to 8ohms each then combine them to bring them down to 4ohms. Doing the second way will let you run one amp with less strain on your electrical system in your car. Running at 2ohms or 1ohms your system is going to strain. Lights will flash every bass note, amp will get really hot. Unless you have a capacitor , but electrical and amp will still be asked to work really hard.

I used to have four of those CVR's and I had them running off of a Kicker 1200.1 amp, eventually two of them blew because i had them running at 1 ohm stable but I would definently go with that amp and with those subs you can run them so that you get a 2 ohm stable and you would probably be getting about 650 to 750 watts per sub. (if installed correctly)

If your total system power is 1000 watts RMS or more, you will need to:

1. Upgrade the alternator to a high output alternator
2. Upgrade to a heavy duty deep cycle battery
3. Upgrade the "Big 3" – that is to replace the power wire between the battery and alternator, the ground from the battery to the chassis and the ground strap from the engine/tranny to the chassis with at least 1/0 AWG wire.

Failure to do this will result in you replacing them anyway as the alternator will eventually fail.
