Answers of your question:

I have 2 kicker CVR's right now in a pretty small sealed box. I was reading on yahoo the other day and found out that you can pack a sealed box with poly-fil to help relieve stress on the cones, dissapate sound waves, and also 'trick' your subs into thinking they are in a bigger box. I was a little tight for money and wanted something just a bit louder. It cost me 10 dollars for a 5 pound box of poly-fil from any craft store or walmart. You add a pound of poly-fill per cubic foot of box. Although it was cheap and a quick fix it actually made a huge difference on the deepness that my subs hit. Just a thought.

Answers of your question:

I own 2 kicker cvr 12's and i put them in a sealed box 1.25 cu ft per chamber and they were pretty loud.

Then i put them in a vented box that are currently in right now and its just crazy in my car I just can't breath sometimes.

So yea I would go with vented not sealed (unless you want them for sound quality then go with sealed), I have mine in a 1.75 cubic feet per chamber and that is recommended for bumping music but if you want them for (SPL) Sound Pressure Level which is only used for bass competitions and not for bumping music then go with 2.25 cu ft per chamber as recommended.
im only powering them 300 watts rms to each which is recommended for vented, and 400 watts rms recommended in a sealed box because sealed boxes make the sub harder to move and are less efficient because they tend to need more watts and sealed boxes are less louder than vented box.

Just make sure you give them 300+ watts rms to each if you go with a vented enclosure.

Answers of your question:

Google winISP pro and build your own ported box using winISP specs. That way you can tune your box however you want it… That's the best way and type… homemade if built correct!!! Use 3/4 MDF board, liguid nail and a lot of screws!!!
