i am buying 2 kicker 12" l7 subs and i need to figure out what amp to get. i was told that the kicker zx 1500.1 amp is a really nice amp and would make these subs hit really hard. can anyone give me their opinion on amps and what i should do. if i got the kicker amp id buy my subs at dual 2 ohm but i havent bought anything yet until i know exactly what i want

Kicker ZX1500.1 or you could use two of these Kicker ZX750.1, it will pound
i have two Kicker S12L5 subs, each on its own Kicker KX600.1 and it can be heard from at least two blocks, and sets off car alarms in driveways, you will not be disappointed

I personally like alpine amps. When buying audio equipment you can always mix and match, it's not illegal, and sometimes its a better decision. Its all bout what your ears like. More than likely you are gonna want an amp thats going to let the subs hit at their peak performance equally. I read the revues on that particular amp and it seems up to standards, but i'd go on eBay and browse around, and find the best deal for the power.

well first remember that the subs are 750 wrms in a sealed box and 600 wrms in a ported box so your box will make a differance in the amp you chose. if you get a sealed box then the ZX1500.1 or two ZX750.1s will be great but in a ported box you can go with a ZX1000.1 and dont forget that you can also use an SX1250.1 or two SX650.1s
