Can anyone tell me if the kicker L7's 15 are extremely loud and if there are louder(SPL) or better 15" subs for a better price. The kicker 15" L7 are $318. please list the better 15" subs. Also is there a difference in the sound of a 15" L5 and a 15" L7?

They are loud, but loudness isn't the only thing you should look for. Their sound quality (SQ) is crappy from what I've heard. All they are is loud, pretty much. I'd recommend Alpine's Type-R 15" any day over Kicker's L7.

i would not recomend kicker l7's. they are really loud but there have been alot of problems with them. i blew one of my voice coils in one of my l7's and it takes a lot to get them fixed. and yes there is a difference in the l5 and l7's. the l7's are better and louder.

they should be if you power them right….one single 15" can handle 1000 watts RMS. get the kicker zx1000 for it and itll be a good setup.
