If your getting 2 12" 2ohm dvc L5's, My personal preference would be to wire each sub in series up to 4 ohms, then run them together in parallel at 2 ohms to a zx5001 or zx4001 Kicker amplifier with an 8 gauge or 4 gauge Kicker amp install kit.

why would you want that combination???

you will most likely need 2 monoblock amps to run them both as i dont think there are very many 1/2 ohm stable amps to be had on the cheap. getting (2) 1 ohm stable amps would be better imo
