sorry, im not sure what the actual name for them are but its the things that the negative and positive wire goes into. Im just wondering what to do with the extra 2 on each subwoofer. Do they hook up to another amp or are they just back ups incase the other 2 stop working?

Actually, there is no real purpose for them. Mine are the exact same way except that it has 4 of those on both sides of the sub (a total of 8 on each sub). They are just there for wiring flexibility or hooking one sub up to multiple power sources. As long as you have the + wire hooked up to the + terminal and the – wire hooked up to the – terminal on the same side, your sub should work fine.

The positive and negative terminals on speakers are connected to voice coils. The reason you have 2 sets is because you have dual voice coils. It's important to know what ohm rating these coils are so you will know what ohm load your amp is seeing. If the ohm load is lower than the amp is stable to run at the amp will either go into overload protection or you will burn it up.

The most common design for a woofer is the electrodynamic driver, which typically uses a stiff paper cone, driven by a voice coil which is surrounded by a magnetic field. The voice coil is attached by adhesives to the back of the speaker cone. The voice coil and magnet form a linear electric motor. When current flows through the voice coil, the coil moves in relation to the frame according to Fleming's left hand rule, causing the coil to push or pull on the driver cone in a piston-like way. The resulting motion of the cone creates sound waves as it moves in and out.

Look for a model number on you speakers or test the coils a multimeter to figure out what ohm they are. You really need to know which kicker speaker you have so you will know the rms wattage rating too. You will need this information when choosing an amp.
