You have them wired wrong….your load is too low on your amp causing it to go into protect mode.

this sounds like either one of two problems. either you have a short, or more likely, the subwoofers are draining too much power for the amp you have. my friend had this problem, the subs draw too much power, and the amp trips an internal breaker in itself to keep from melting down. im assuming that once the system shuts off, if you wait a couple of minutes, it can be turned back on.

get a bigger and more importantly an amp from a reputable company.

Sounds like your amp is clipping. Where is your amp mounted. It an amp becomes overheated than the thermal protection turns the amp off before it is able to damage itself. If the whole stereo shuts off than you are drawing way too much power. Do you have a capacitator. I had this problem in a ford once. I had my system running off the factory head unit and when i turned it up past a certain spot it shut the whole stereo off. It sounds more like your amp overheating Kenwoods and Kicker amp are kinda bad for that the need to be installed in places where there is a lot of air flow over them.

not really enuf info but try turning the gain to like a 1/4 or 1/2 then turn your normal volume up to where u want it,then adjust the gain accordingly…try wiring your subs up together as one,pos. 2 together n the neg. 2 together….then wire these to your amps left positive and the right negative…..that should bridge it. you can try this first and hopefully that'll work a little better,how many volts are at the amplifier-use a test light
