i just bough 2 10" kicker CVR's and i was wondering how should i break them in?-What amp would be best to power 2 12 inch kicker compvt 2ohm subwoofers ?-10 kicker subwoofers

well each 12"cvt is 400 watts rms so if you want to stick with kicker i would go with a 2 channel amp. if you want to go with a 1 channel mono amp you'll need a 1ohm stable amp. i personally would go with a zx550.2 at least. you can get a new one for $240 on ebay. i had 2 4ohm cvt wired to 2 ohms with a zx400.1 and they pounded. they were a little under powered but they pounded. and remember, kicker under rates their stuff so a zx550.2 is more like 600 watts or more.

Maybe stick with Kicker ? They make some solid amps for not a lot of money.. a pair of these amps would hammer those CVT's HARD !
