well you pick up approximately 6db for wiring 2 subs in parallel.. ya get 3db for doubling cone area and 3db for halving impedence… also using multiple subs halves the excursion which means less distortion at higher volumes. go vented for more efficiencyu also.

I don't know how you plan on wiring the subwoofers but I cannot see how you could wire to a 2 ohm load whether running one or both of the subs. You must have the kicker comps which come in single 4 ohm and single 8 ohm voice coil configs. If you have the single 4 ohm subs you can wire both of the subs in parallel to a 2 ohm load which should yield about 250 watts out of your amp which will just under power your subs, this is what I would do if you already have the subs. You could also run just one sub at a 4 ohm load and get about 140-150 watts, this would work well if you are really pushed for space. If you by chance have the single 8 ohm woofers though you cannot get enough power from that amp to properly power the woofers.
